Terms for using CostChirp
These terms explain what to check before you rely on an offer or price on CostChirp.
Check the retailer’s terms
CostChirp is independent of Costco and does not sell the products shown. Retailer names and marks identify their respective owners.
Before buying, check the source, sale dates, item number, package size, and whether the offer applies online or in a warehouse. Check purchase limits and location restrictions too. Offers may change or be unavailable. The retailer determines actual price, stock, eligibility, and transaction terms.
Understand what an amount means
A discount is the amount taken off, not the price you pay. An online price applies to the date it was checked. If a price is missing, we don’t know it. An older price may have changed, and a sale may exist even if CostChirp does not list it.
CostChirp does not list every product or sale. Fictional sample products and prices, when shown, are labeled and are not real offers. See Coverage for availability and limits.
Shopping lists, forecasts, and receipts
Adding an item to your shopping list does not order or reserve it, subscribe you to alerts, or record a purchase. Keep a copy if you need it after clearing browser storage or switching devices.
Premium cannot be purchased here. Personal alerts and phone-app receipt scanning are not available yet. If forecasts become available, they will be estimates. They will not guarantee sale dates, savings, refund eligibility, or local stock.
Keep your original receipts. CostChirp does not authorize refunds or price adjustments; the retailer makes those decisions.
Use and feedback
Use the site without disrupting it, accessing another person’s private information, or attempting to bypass access controls. Do not enter private payment, membership, or receipt details into public search or shopping-list notes.
